High salt wastewater refers to wastewater containing organic matter and at least total dissolved solids (TDS) whose mass fraction is more than 3.5%. Because in this kind of wastewater, there are not only organic pollutants, but also a lot of soluble inorganic salts, such as Cl -, Na +, SO42 -, Ca2 +, etc. This kind of wastewater can not be treated by biochemical method. In addition to the desalination of seawater, this kind of wastewater mainly comes from the following fields:
① chemical production, incomplete chemical reaction or by-products of chemical reaction, especially a large number of toxic wastewater with high COD and salt produced in the production process of chemical products such as dyes and pesticides;
② wastewater treatment, in the wastewater treatment process, the mineralization brought by the addition of water treatment agent, acid and alkali, as well as the concentrated solution produced by the recovery of "fresh" water will increase the concentration of soluble salts and form the so-called "high salinity wastewater" which is difficult to be biochemical treated.

When the high salt wastewater enters the low temperature vacuum evaporator crystallizer after pre filtration and evaporates under the vacuum and low temperature conditions, the water vapor condenses in the process of vacuumizing to form distilled water, which is collected into the clean water barrel; the residue in the kettle is collected into the barrel for further treatment. It can greatly reduce or even remove the harmful chemicals and heavy metals contained in the waste liquid. The evaporation rate of the equipment can reach more than 60%. Through the pre-treatment and post-treatment process, the effluent water is clear and transparent, and the biochemical property of wastewater, reclaimed water reuse or discharge standard are all realized.
